After an Abortion

Abortion can be a very traumatic experience for both women and men, and even other family and friends involved. Even though our society tells us that abortion is legal and no big deal, it has harmful after-effects on the many lives it has touched. We encourage you to reach out to the following resources for post-abortion support.

The National Memorial for the Unborn, located at 6230 Vance Rd. Chattanooga TN 37421, is dedicated to healing generations of pain associated with the loss of aborted and miscarried children.  Please visit memorialfortheunborn.org or call (423) 899-1677.

AbAnon is an eight-week healing program offered to those who have experienced emotional trauma after an abortion. Their gender-specific groups are provided both digitally and in-person. These groups are led by experienced, trained facilitators who understand the effects this trauma can take on relationships, mental health and the well-being of each participant. Their teams are ready and eager to walk with those affected on their path towards healing. For information about an AbAnon group, email [email protected] or visit www.srtwervices.org.
